Meetings Held for Coastal Boundary Study in September

MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT

The Office of Coastal Management (OCM) will make a presentation on the "Coastal Zone Boundary Evaluation Study" requested by the Louisiana Legislature at a series of Regional Stakeholder Workgroup meetings being held by the Office of Coastal Protection and Restoration on September 1st, 2nd. and 3rd.  The meetings will be held in New Orleans (Sept. 1st) Houma (Sept. 2nd), and Lake Charles (Sept. 3rd).  The OCM presentation will be the final item on the RSW agenda and will consist of an overview of the study followed by discussion oriented towards stakeholder or public input regarding the scientific parameters which should be considered in the study.  OCM staff will be available at the end of the meeting to answer questions about the study.
