NEW BOARD MEMBER NAMED AND MINERAL LEASE STATS ISSUED IN DECEMBER

The State Mineral Board conducted a Lease Sale December 12, 2001, at 10:00 a.m. in the Mineral Board Hearing Room located in the State Land and Natural Resources Building in Baton Rouge. Below are the preliminary results of the Lease Sale and 2001-2002 Fiscal Year totals.

Mineral Board Secretary Gus Rodemacher also announced the appointment of Michael Domino of Morgan City to serve on the Board. Domino was appointed by Governor Foster and joins the ten-member Board responsible for the leasing of state lands and waterbottoms.
