Hackney fishes dead end canals on the Lake Verret side and provides insights for this weekend’s Louisiana Bass Championship Open
Sportsman TV ventures into the Atchafalaya Basin as Greg Hackney pursues largemouth bass in advance of the Louisiana Bass Championship Open this weekend in Stephensville.
He and producer Jared Serigné launched from Doiron’s Landing in chilly conditions and covered some serious ground, finding bass holding on patches of coontail and under mats.
Most fish were caught on Strike King’s Hack Attack swim jig or their red eye shad lipless crankbait.
