Celebrating the founding of New Iberia by the Spanish with gala, "Running of the Bulls" dog-friendly 5K/1mile fun run, parade, paella/tapas/jambalaya cook-off, Spanish dessert bake-off, Spanish re-enactment, Spanish family genealogy displays, live Spanish, Cajun and Zydeco music, entertainment; arts and crafts show; FREE Spanish dance lessons; visiting royalty paella eating contest; children's tent, mass and more!

The first Friday of each month will feature local Cajun music while remaining Fridays will feature a variety of singers, songwriters as well as local legends. Pie Bar will offer a 10% discount on all menu items, every Monday, to all residents of New Iberia. Residents will simply show their drivers license (or other ID) to receive 10% off their food and drink order. Happy Hour is from 3:14-5pm with beer or a glass of wine at 1/2 price.

The New Iberia Vendor and Craft event will be held in conjunction with the Festival of Live Oaks in City Park. This event supports the recreation department. There will be a barbecue cook-off, train rides, petting zoo, fun jumps and other activities for kids along with many home business, arts and crafts booths as well as sweets and treats.

Featuring artists and crafters all along East and West Main St. including A & E Gallery, District Arts and more with retail and restaurants open during the day.
