Dances

Come laissez les bons temps rouler with your family and friends! We encourage you to bring your favorite snacks and beverages so that you can keep dancing as long as that night’s band is cranking out their great Cajun tunes. Please let us know in advance when you plan to host your celebratory events at our dance so we can reserve enough space for your party.

Location

Our dances are held at Ric Seeling Dance Studio – located at 10776 N Harrells Ferry Rd, in the shopping center between Cedarcrest Avenue and Aubin Lane (which connects to N Harrells Ferry), and is south of Old Hammond Hwy, in Baton Rouge.

Schedule

Join Us for a Night of Dancing!

All CFMABR dances are held on Saturdays, with doors opening at 6:30pm. Arrive early for our free dance lessons at 6:50pm (with paid admission), where you can learn or refresh your skills in the Cajun Waltz and Cajun Two-Step.

At our dances, we believe that variety is the spice of life. We encourage you to dance with new partners, whether during our lessons or while the band plays. Dancing with different people not only enhances your skills but also helps you adapt to various styles, making you a more versatile dancer.

When you always dance with the same partner, you might compensate for each other’s weaknesses and develop habits that only suit that partnership. By mixing it up, you’ll improve your ability to adjust to any partner, expanding your comfort level on the dance floor and becoming a better overall dancer.

Plus, you might just make a new friend along the way. So come join us, and let’s dance together!

Live Music 🎻🪗🥁 begins at 7:30 pm, lasting until 10:00pm.
