Description:

This project was designed to direct the flow of Mississippi River nutrients and sediment into the deteriorating wetlands in the Breton Sound Basin that are not directly benefited by the Caernarvon Freshwater Diversion project. Because of the failure to secure landrights, the project was officially deauthorized by the Breaux Act Task Force in January of 1998.
