Cheniere Au Tigre

State Project Number: CAT-01
Project Priority List (PPL): N/A
Project Type: Shoreline Protection
Construction Completion Date: 2005

Description:

The primary objective of the project is to protect the Cheniere au Tigre shoreline from additional erosion and protect local infrastructure. This project will use segmented rock breakwater structures to help reduce the rate of shoreline erosion and promote sediment deposition along the beach north of the breakwater structures. This project proposes the construction of a series of segmented breakwaters along the shoreline just east of the CWPPRA funded TV-16 project with up to 9 additional structures. The structures will cover approximately 2 ,800 linear feet with an approximate distance of 240 feet from the existing shoreline.
