Highway 384 Hydrologic Restoration

Description:

The purpose of this project is to restore the natural hydrology of the project area and eliminate high salinities and severe water fluctuations to reduce marsh losses. The project features included the installation of flapgated culverts and a shell plug installed along the Calcasieu Lake shoreline to repair a breach.
