Description:
The project goals are to protect the emergent wetlands of the Cameron Prairie National Wildlife Refuge adjacent to the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway (GIWW). Project features include construction of approximately 2.5 miles of rock dike parallel to the existing spoil bank, thereby terminating the encroachment of the GIWW into the refuge.
