The Geological Oil and Gas Division's Subsurface Study and Data Management Section is responsible for overseeing complex geological unitization projects, conducting independent geological mapping and correlation projects, and for ensuring that electrical logs submitted to the Geological Division are tracked and handled in accordance with Office policy and Laws of the State.
Additionally, the Section assists the public, government and industry in researching oil and gas well information. The Section is housed in Room 970, Ninth Floor, LaSalle Building, located at 617 North Third Street, Baton Rouge Louisiana. Parking is available in the LaSalle Parking Garage located directly across North Street, adjacent to the LaSalle Building.
