DNR Intranet
DNR Recycling Program – LaSalle – Here’s the Good News.
Plastic, metal, cardboard, and paper will be recycled. Green and Blue bins are located on each floor of the LaSalle Office Building for recycling. There is a commercial-size blue bin located just outside the building near the loading dock that will hold all the recycled items until it is emptied by the Baton Rouge Recycling Foundation (BRRF).
The LaSalle Building Recycling Program Coordinator is Sarah Duncan, sarah.duncan@la.gov DNR Office of Coastal Management, 10th floor, 225 -342-6467.
Paper Recycling
The small blue bins must be emptied into the blue bins-on-wheels by our employees in the work areas where they are placed. When a large blue (paper) recycling bin-on-wheels is full, the custodial staff will roll it from its location, via the freight elevator, to empty it in the recycling dumpster, and then return the wheeled container back to its designated location.
Check out the floor plans

Kitchen Recycling
Plastic and Metal containers — all items put into the green bins located in the kitchens, will be removed by DNR Recycling Coordinators. Liners are required in all of the green bins. When a green (kitchen) recycling bin is full, call or email Sarah Duncan (342-6467) or Nicole Dandurand (342-1076). Please ensure that all containers are empty, and preferably lightly rinsed before placing in recycle bins.
A policy directive that our employees can practice will be forth coming; it will align with the Governor’s Executive Order BJ 2008-8
.
Thanks to all for supporting this program.
