Basic Procedures

Prepare Docket Packet which includes the following:

A check payable to the Office of Mineral Resources in the amount of $500.00 to cover the advertising and docketing fee.

Check the official State Mineral Board Schedule and submit the Docket Packet no later than the State Mineral Lease Sale for the month immediately prior to the State Mineral Lease Sale at which the item is to appear on the State Mineral Board docket for approval, to the Office of Mineral Resources, Attention: Docket and Lease Ownership Section, 617 N. Third Street, 8th Floor, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70802.
