Atchafalaya Basin Education Toolbox:
Five Lessons for 8th Grade Social Studies

Louisiana eighth-graders can learn about an extraordinary wet and wild area in the very heart of our state -- the Atchafalaya Basin. DNR’s Atchafalaya Basin Program offers a five-part learning tool to help students know more about this remarkable and most productive habitat for fish and wildlife.
