The Home Depot, The US Department of Energy (DOE), The Partnership for Advancing Technology in Housing (PATH), Entergy New Orleans and Commercial Electric are offering free hurricane preparation/repair clinics for Louisiana residents.

The Home Depot will issue a FREE Mystery Value Gift Card worth $1-$1000 to the first 500 workshop attendees each day! Commercial Electric will give away a FREE energy efficient light bulb to the first 2,500 attendees each day!

When: Saturday & Sunday, July 22-23, 2006 – 9am-5pm (Sat.) and 10am-3pm (Sun.)

What: Free Hands-On Home Repair and Hurricane Preparedness Workshop

Workshop Highlights include:

· Free hands-on home repair clinics on dozens of topics, including how to repair a storm damaged roof, installing windows, fool-proof cost-effective ways to improve your home’s energy efficiency and durability, and many more.

· Live demonstrations taught by professionals from trusted product manufacturers on installing hurricane shutters, applying hurricane straps & fortifying doors.
