Vendor Roles
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________
TRAINERS:
Trainers
will be assigned spaces based on their topics and displays. Trainers are
encouraged to include hands-on training demonstration tools while discussing
their topic(s). Trainers may use existing training resources, but information
must align with the content of the Tech Briefs (“How-To’s for the Handy
Homeowner” series) and must not contradict these recommendations. Trainers
should bring physical props to visually demonstrate how the product/process
works within the established training topic. Trainers must bring all necessary
tools and materials to support the training topic. Trainers will be responsible
for their accommodations, shipping, props and electrical needs.
EXHIBITORS:
A
10x10 space will be provided for each exhibitor. Exhibit spaces will be
assigned. Exhibitors will be responsible for sending the appropriate personnel
and necessary equipment needed in order to train residents on how to use their
products properly. Exhibitors will be responsible for their accommodations,
shipping, materials and the cost of any electrical needs.
HOUSE AS A SYSTEM:
This
area will include three props: a roof section, a wall section, and an attic
floor section to demonstrate energy efficiency, water protection, and
durability measures for the home.
Additionally, Home Sealing vendors will have booths set up to the left
and right of these props with additional props and demonstrations. Vendors in
this area will be assigned spaces based on their topics and displays.
