Angelique Staley

Business Development Manager,

Intertek Oil, Chemical & Agri – US, Canada and Latin America

 

            From 2000 to date Mrs. Staley has been involved in the Business Development Group of Intertek and is currently the Business Manager for the Americas (2005). Prior to this Mrs. Staley worked both as a bench chemist within Intertek as well as working for a specialty Coatings Company in their R&D group with a focus on reduction of VOC’s in a new line of colorants.  She was also responsible for establishing their Waste minimization and Reduction plan along with the development of their ISO 9000 quality system.

Most recently Mrs. Staley has focused on the development of the Bio Fuels market with a special focus on quality issues, both in storage and during cargo movements. The process of implementing testing was accomplished through new method validation, standardization and roll out to multiple facilities within the Intertek network.  She recently consulted on a biodiesel laboratory design, install and validation for an upcoming biodiesel producer in the Midwest.   Lastly, she is a certified auditor for ISO 9000, RFG and ISO 17025 quality systems and has completed BQ9000 training through the National Biodiesel Board.

 

Mrs. Staley is a lecturer for Texas A&M Food Protein R&D Center’s “Practical Short Course on Biodiesel and Industrial Applications of Vegetable Oils”.

 

Participant in ASTM, ALMA, API, NBB Organizations and a Panel Speaker for OPIS Supply Summit.

 

Mrs. Staley holds a B.S. in Environmental Sciences – Chemistry 1997 University of Houston.
