After graduating from the Southern Iowa Institute of Technology, Ed started his career as a diesel technician. Ed holds a double master certification from the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence, and with over 27-years in the beverage industry, Ed has learned to manage all aspects of fleet management from the ground-up. Ed joined Silver Eagle Distributors in 1988. In 2007 Silver Eagle became the nation’s largest Anheuser-Busch wholesaler operating out of seven facilities with a fleet of over 1,250 vehicles. The wholesaler markets and delivers upwards of 43 million cases of product annually. Ed is a member of the American Trucking Association’s National Committee for Motor Fleet Supervisor Training and Certification, The Houston Council of Fleet Safety Professionals and The Gulf Coast Fleet Maintenance Council. Ed is also an active stakeholder with the Houston-Galveston Area Council’s Clean Cities Coalition.
