Gloria Vaughn is an Environmental Scientist in the Multimedia Planning and Permitting Division of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Region 6 office in Dallas. She is the Coordinator of the Blue Skyways Collaborative, a public-private partnership to improve air quality. The Blue Skyways Collaborative comprises over 100 public and private partners in a geographic area including 10 central U.S. States and adjoining areas of Canada and Mexico. Partners in the Collaborative pledge actions to improve air quality through planning or implementation of projects that use innovations in diesel engines, alternative fuels, and energy efficiency/renewable energy technologies.
