Michael Hennessy

Regional Sales Manager – ISE Corporation

Mr. Hennessy is the Regional Sales Manager for ISE Corporation, which provides electric and hybrid- electric drive systems for heavy-duty vehicles.

Mr. Hennessy has 34 years of experience in the transportation industry in both public and private sectors with extensive experience in maintenance and operations. He spent 29 years at the Chicago Transit Authority where he held a number of senior level positions including Superintendent of Maintenance and General Manager of Bus Garage Operations. He was a Regional Director for Transmatic, Inc from 2001 to 2006 with responsibilities for business development, sales and service for twenty states east of the Mississippi.

Mr. Hennessy is an active member of APTA and has held a number of leadership positions on numerous committees. This includes the International Bus Roadeo, the International Bus Maintenance Roadeo, and the Bus Operations Committee. He also serves on the Bus Safety Committee, Program Planning and a number of Bus Standard working groups.
