Wes is Environmental Affairs Manager of the City of Shreveport's Department of Operational Services, which is the department responsible for water and sewerage services, streets and drainage, solid waste, and other public works matters. His office is responsible for providing regulatory oversight and guidance on environmental matters in all areas of the Department, and is in charge of the City's Cross Lake Watershed Management program, ozone action program, stormwater program, Brownfields program and industrial pretreatment program. City of Shreveport (working with Department of Natural Resources and NREL was first in the nation to include Performance contract to qualify emission reductions that are include in SEP. Wes utilized SEP funding for purchase of hybrid/elect bus for cit of Shreveport.

Mr. Wyche has a BA from LSU and a Juris Doctorate degree from LSU Law Center.
