Notice is hereby given that the Commissioner of Conservation will conduct a public hearing beginning at 8:30 a.m., Tuesday, November 10, 2015, Griffon Room on the first floor, at the LaSalle Building located at 617 North Third Street, Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

At such time, the Commissioner, or his designated representative, will conduct the hearing pursuant to LAC Title 43, Part XIX. Subpart 1. Statewide Order No. 29-B relative to environmental damage to property located in Section 39, Township 15 South, Range 19 East, Lafourche Parish, Louisiana, and described in that certain partial Release of Oil and Gas Lease dated April 23, 1945, recorded at Book 116, Page 447, Entry number 66953, in the Conveyance Records of Lafourche Parish Louisiana. Environmental damage to the described property has been alleged in the suit entitled Sterling Sugars, Inc. v Amerada Hess Corporation, et al, filed in Lafource Parish, Docket Number 100091-D. At the hearing, the Commissioner, or his designated representative, will consider plans submitted by the parties, and based upon evidence submitted, will approve and/or structure the most feasible plan to evaluate and/or remediate the environmental damage.
