There are a number state, local, utility, and federal incentives designed to encourage the exploration, production, conservation and efficient use of energy and natural resources.

Some involve public-private cooperative endeavors other provide public funds, and many involve tax or other investment benefits.

Rural Clean Energy Business Assistance

Technological Research and Development Authority ( TRDA) offers state-of-the-art technical assistance and capital formation support at no cost to rural clean energy businesses in Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, and South Carolina.

USDA Grants for Energy Audits at Farms, Ranches, and Rural Small Businesses
Applications for grants must be completed and submitted on paper or electronically no later than June 9, 2009.
