Experience a harvest of delicious homegrown produce and home-made products by area farmers, artists and crafters. Also included are hand-made cypress yard objects, home-made bread and fresh baked goods, ceramics, honey, jellies, jams, herbs, candies, handcrafted wooden bowls and utensils, birdhouses, garden benches and much more. The market is held every Saturday morning from 7 - 12 p.m. and Tuesday afternoon from 2 - 6 p.m.

First Saturday of the month from March to December except July. Enjoy what's fresh for the season from area farms and local waters, along with tasting opportunities and recipes, live music, kids activities and other special events at Bayou Carlin Cove Boat Landing and Pavilion.

"Table Beausoleil" in honor of Beausoleil Broussard and the first Acadian settlers will meet every Tuesday morning to speak French.

Local farmers selling produce, plants, honey, homemade pies or any item made/produced locally. Grass-fed beef, pork and lamb are also available at the meat market during this time. The market also keeps produce in the GLC Farm Store during the week.

The TECHE Project's “Geaux Paddle” recreation program is offering paddling opportunities for kids ages 10-14 on Bayou Teche and will include safety instruction, an experiment on water testing, paddle to New Iberia City Park and an art project with Margaret Simon. Learn about wood duck boxes and the importance of providing safe nest sites for reproduction; education on flora and fauna and the importance of native plants; and trash pickup.

Advance registration on Eventbrite is required. Kayaks/canoes, lifejackets and drinks will be provided. Participants must bring their own lunch in a waterproof container.

Additionally, enjoy conversations with francophones and francophiles who visit New Iberia from all over the world as well as students in the French Immersion setting at North Lewis Elementary. Vive le francais!

Shopping event that takes place every 3rd Saturday of the month. The event includes vendors setup along East and West Main Street in front of downtown businesses.
