The first Friday of each month will feature local Cajun music while remaining Fridays will feature a variety of singers, songwriters as well as local legends. Pie Bar will offer a 10% discount on all menu items, every Monday, to all residents of New Iberia. Residents will simply show their drivers license (or other ID) to receive 10% off their food and drink order. Happy Hour is from 3:14-5pm with beer or a glass of wine at 1/2 price.

The TECHE Project's Geaux Paddle recreation program is offering paddling opportunities for kids ages 10-14 on Bayou Teche and will include safety instruction, an experiment on water testing, paddle to New Iberia City Park and an art project with Margaret Simon. Learn about wood duck boxes and the importance of providing safe nest sites for reproduction; education on flora and fauna and the importance of native plants; and trash pickup.
Advance registration on Eventbrite is required. Kayaks/canoes, lifejackets and drinks will be provided. Participants must bring their own lunch in a waterproof container.
